Noah Cowan, artistic director of the TIFF Bell Lightbox, is resigning his post. He is heading south of the border to a new opportunity in the film world, but he is not yet releasing details.

Noah Cowan, artistic director at the TIFF Bell Lightbox, is resigning his post effective Feb 14. Cowan, who has provided Daily Xtra with insights and information on LGBT films for years, is heading south of the border for a new position in the film industry.

And where is Cowan going? He is not saying until some final details are ironed out, but he assures that TIFF will continue to have a strong LGBT presence.
