There are very few ads out there that have made me cry -- has anyone else ever cried watching that Dairy Queen ad with the baby who says disestablishmentarianism? Got me right in the heart, it did -- but holy hell, did this ad ever get the trick done.
It tells the story of a father who learns how to understand his daughter's relationship with her wife, and it's really well executed. It focuses on why her father couldn't come to grips with his daughter's sexuality before he finally comes around. If you don't get just a tiny bit teary by the end of it, you are stone. Like, literal mineral and stuff.
