Diamond Rings’ fashion sense

Musician poses for cover of Fab magazine

Fashion is a bigger part of musician Diamond Rings’ act than you might think.

“Fashion to me is just as important as the songs themselves,” says John O’Reagan (aka Diamond Rings). “I don’t privelege or position any facet of what I do as an artist above or below another.

“To me it’s a part of this one cohesive whole that makes up who I am and who I project to my fans.”

That makes O’Reagan the perfect cover boy for Fab magazine’s annual fashion edition, which hit stands this week.

Diamond Rings has just released a new single, “I’m Just Me,” and his new album, Free Dimensional, is being released on Oct 22. A North American tour will kick off soon after.

Below is a video interview with O’Reagan that took place during the recent Fab cover shoot at his home in Toronto.

On occasion, the number of editors and other staff who contribute to a story gets a little unwieldy to give a byline to everyone.
