Three men deported from Saudi Arabia for being too good-looking

Allow me to introduce you to Omar Borkan Al Gala, a photographer, poet and actor from Dubai who, along with two friends, was recently deported from Saudi Arabia for being “too handsome.” It was reported in a Saudi newspaper that the three men were arrested at a cultural festival in the nation’s capital, Riyadh, because officials thought they would be too irresistible to women, who can be sentenced to a whipping or even death for interacting with men they are not married to.

This gives a whole new meaning to the pickup line “You’re so beautiful it should be criminal . . .”
