Pink Triangle is looking for an awesome Manager, Marketing & Communications who will continue to build a favourable, positive image of the Press’ digital products in the eyes of the public.

In this position you will mainly be working with our men’s hookup site ( -
approx. 90%) as well as our daily LGBT news site ( - approx. 10%).

The Manager, Marketing & Communications is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and measuring Pink Triangle Press’ marketing, communications, and public relations activities (both external and internal) and for delivering measurable, high quality projects and campaigns on time. They are also be responsible for the strategic direction and execution of all external and user based communication of the Press’ digital products.

If you are the right person for this role you will have experience in researching and writing marketing copy for external articles, press releases, digital and print advertisement, e-mail, and website copy. You will have developed publicity, marketing, and promotional material, and will have experience in developing brand guidelines and key messages. Event planning to increase brand recognition will not be a new task to you, and you will have created and executed various other promotional activities to increase traffic, membership, and paid membership (including viral marketing activities).

Because of the nature of one of our websites, you should be comfortable working with male-on-male sexually explicit material, and be able to understand the branding and communication styles necessary.

In addition to the above, you will have proven skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Educated to degree level in English, media studies, marketing, communications studies, journalism or an equivalent specialism.
  • Work experience in journalism, public relations or similar, preferably within a digital media environment.
  • Proven success in writing professional web and marketing copy, with the ability to produce compelling and optimized copy while maintaining brand messaging, persuasiveness, and readability.
  • Creative thinker with proven campaign experience.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret information, news, data, and research quickly, distilling the most important/relevant information to inform unique and innovative new content and creation ideas.
  • Knowledge of sexual politics and history
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (oral and written)

Pink Triangle Press is looking for a Supervising Producer to provide direction and supervision for our video department. Possessing at least five years’ experience in video production along with supervisory experience, the Supervising Producer we are looking for will have solid news judgement and thorough knowledge of LGBT issues, histories, and movements.

If you are the right person for the job you will have the ability to oversee and ensure timely production, publication, and broadcast of video and multimedia stories, projects, and series. You will be able to prepare pitches, budgets, applications, and other documents in support of projects and Press directives. You are also able to lead in a fast-paced environment and deal with developing and competing stories in an efficient and productive manner.  

Your additional proven skills and experience will include, but will not be limited to the following:

  • At least five years experience in video production
  • At least two years experience in a supervisory role
  • Must know Final Cut Pro and have familiarity with other available editing software
  • Must have full knowledge of lighting and audio requirements for broadcast
  • Must be able to give clear direction to staff and freelancers
  • Must work well with others, be a team leader, and be able to work well under pressure
  • Must be able to assess and react to rapidly changing situations
  • Thorough understanding of social media

Pink Triangle Press is looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to provide excellent customer service and content support via phone and web. Possessing at least 1-2 years’ experience in a call centre environment, the ideal person for this role will be comfortable working around sexually explicit (male-on-male) products and materials.

This opening is for a Sunday to Thursday 10am - 6pm shift, however the role also involves covering a variety of shifts, including weekends and late-night, to cover vacations and illnesses for other call centre staff members.

As a CSR your proven skills and experience will include, but will not be limited to the following:

  • 1-2 years customer service experience in a call centre environment.
  • Comfortable with male-on-male sexually explicit imagery.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with solid understanding of Excel and Word.
  • Working knowledge of Google products, such as Docs, Calendar, Mail
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Windows (XP, 7, 8.x) and OS X.
  • Multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and late-night.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English skills.
