British TV host reveals he killed his dying gay lover

FEB 16: Police are investigating a BBC host after he revealed on television that he killed a former lover who was suffering from AIDS.

In a Feb 15 program, Ray Gosling said “Maybe this is the time to share a secret that I have kept for quite a long time.

“I killed someone, once,” he tells the camera. “He was a young
chap, he had been my lover, and he got AIDS.”

“In a hospital one
afternoon, doctors said ‘there’s nothing we can do.’ And he was in terrible, terrible pain.

“I said to the doctor, ‘leave me, just for a bit.’ He went away, and I picked up the pillow and smothered him until his dead. The doctor came back, I said ‘he’s gone.’ Nothing more was ever said.

In a follow-up interview, Gosling said he and his partner had an agreement in case the suffering and pain worsened and nothing could be done.

Gosling said the UK’s law on assisted suicide is “out of step with what society needs and wants.”
