Bruce LaBruce’s (mostly) uncut interview on queer films at TIFF

Filmmaker weighs in on Foxcatcher, Pride, Mommy and Pasolini

Today’s blog is short but delivers a punch. Above, you’ll find the extended version of an interview that Gordon Bowness did with Canadian filmmaker Bruce LaBruce about queer films at TIFF.

Most of what we do here in the video department is cut down interviews into bite-sized, internet-friendly clips that we hope audiences will eat up. But often it is hard to figure out what to cut. That was the case here: LaBruce has so many insights, and I didn’t want to leave out anything. Thanks to this blog, I didn’t have to.

Grab a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, sit back and enjoy.
