Canadian places second!

Mr Leatherman Toronto 2004 Remi Collette was the first runner-up at the 26th International Mr Leather (IML) Contest in Chicago last month. It is the highest placement ever for a Canadian competitor.

Steven Hould, Mr Leather Ottawa-Outaouais 2004, represented the nation’s capital at IML.

Out of 58 contestants from five countries, the new IML 2004 is Jason Hendrix (Mr DC Eagle 2004). Second runner-up is Thomas Schoch (Mr Fetish Switzerland 2004).

Born in 1979 when about 400 gay leathermen gathered in Chicago for the first IML contest, the weekend is now Chicago’s fifth largest convention and now draws more than 10,000 attendees and contestants from around the globe.
