Channing Tatum: The sexiest man alive?

Word on the blogosphere is that People magazine‘s 2012 Sexiest Man Alive is Channing Tatum. Apparently, his bare ass in Magic Mike sealed the deal. I’m still confused as to why Zac Efron hasn’t been given the honour, as confused as I am as to why I’ve never seen his bare ass (on screen or off).

One person who needs no convincing that Tatum deserves the title is Elton John. Just look at this excerpt from Tatum’s recent interview with Out:

Channing: “Elton John had his hand up my ass the other night.”

Interviewer: “Really? How did that feel?”

Channing: “Like any other hand up my ass, but more knightly. I can check that box now. It falls under the umbrella of doing sexual shit with Elton John in public. I’m sure I’m not the first.”

I’ll say.

Is Channing Tatum worthy of taking the title from the 2011 recipient, Bradley Cooper? Maybe this GIF will help you decide:
