About 800 people lazed on the City Hall lawn in the twilight hours of Sep 22. They joined volunteers from nine local AIDS service agencies for the 17th annual AIDS Walk For Life.
After rousing speeches and a stop at the Human Rights Monument on Elgin St, the group marched up Elgin and Gladstone, down Bank and circled back on Laurier.
The event raised $74,000, with pledges on par with previous years.
