Drag queens and death metal combined!

You have to admit, the words “drag queen” and “death metal” don’t often go together. But they do make an interesting form of music journalism.

The video is part of a series done by Vice on its new music channel, Noisey, and was shot at London’s Tranny Shack party at Madame Jojo’s. Personally, I would love to see someone like Sharon Needles do a number to death metal. Or at the very least, put out a little riot grrl action.

Well it is the weekend, which means it’s time for the Weekend Office Dance Party. “Planets,” by 6th Borough Project demands a large sound system, or at the very least, really good headphones for dancing in your office chair.
