Dyke March doubles its numbers

Speeches and BBQ round out the usual march

Dykes on bikes led a takeover of downtown Ottawa Aug 25.

Over 350 people marched in the fourth annual Dyke March, nearly doubling last year’s numbers.

“It’s nice every once in a while to be a bit more radical in what people have called a sweater-vest kind of town,” says organizer Ariel Troster.
