A glimpse of ghoulish gaiety

On Oct 31 Church St was swarming with homos decked in their Allhallows-eve finery — not to mention hordes of tourists who came to bask in their frightful glory. According to the Church Wellesley Village Business Improvement Area, which organized the street closure and entertainment as part of the weeklong fest Halloweek, the crowd peaked at more than 50,000 on the unseasonably warm Friday night.
