GObama!!! Yeeeeoooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

One of the moderators on CNN last night commented that the election of Barack Obama is a reminder to the world of all the things that were good and fair and equal about the US and hopefully will be once again, to not give up hope, that things can and do change, that the nightmare of the last eight years is finally, at last, over. Even Oprah was crying in the crowd…and honestly, how good was it to look at the diverse crowd of supporters in Chicago waiting for Obama’s acceptance speech. And he even mentioned gays in his speech. Whatta man whatta man whatta man whatta mighty good man…

This one’s for you, president elect:

On the flipside, did you see the crowd for McCain’s farewell? It was looking at a sea of ghosts…or at the Canadian Conservative Party’s 2008 election platform. How did the GOP represent one of the most multicultural countries on earth for EIGHT YEARS?

And for that matter, why did the Canadian election happen before the US election? What a brilliant move by Harper…oh Canada, why…who is our next visionary??
