RuPaul's Drag Race queens ambush the new Cher video

Let’s all be clear: Cher is not going anywhere. Sure, she’s gone on countless farewell tours, but the woman keeps on coming back with a new song. Her newest release, “Woman’s World,” had an accompanying video release a few weeks back — it’s a cute clip of women dancing and Cher popping in every few seconds with a new wig. One of those weaves is made out of newspapers; it’s stunning.

Regular viewers of RuPaul’s Drag Race (as we all should be, because it’s an amazing show) will know the queens are nothing but reverential of Cher, and now they officially get to pay tribute in a second video for “Woman’s World.” Featuring favourites like Manila Luzon, Willam, Alyssa Edwards, Shangela and professional impersonator/goddess Chad Michaels, the queens lip-sync for their lives while dressed as Cher throughout the years.

The song is fairly meh, but the video is a must-watch, which just goes to show you how amazing these drag queens really are. As soon as Chad Michaels appears wearing the iconic 1986 Academy Awards headdress, it’s impossible to look away.
