Activists refuse to give up rights despite Indian Supreme Court ruling

Thousands of activists in Mumbai, India, marched in that city’s Pride parade Feb 1, in defiance of a recent setback that saw the Indian Supreme Court reinstate a ban on gay sex.

“We are proud that we are gay, and this is a celebration of that,” says Prince Manvendra Singh Gohil, who was at the event.
