Who's running for each party

Liberal candidate Catherine Meade is running in Halifax.

Each of the five major parties has at least one out candidate in this election, although only the NDP could provide a definitive list.

For the NDP, BC incumbents Bill Siksay and Libby Davies in Burnaby-Douglas and Vancouver East are running again. Clint Davidson is running in Saskatoon-Wanuskewin and El-Farouk Khaki is running in Toronto Centre. Amy Darwish and André Chauvette are running in Quebec’s Lasalle-Émard and Berthier-Maskinongé ridings and Megan Leslie, a self-identified queer activist with a male partner, is running in Halifax.

For the Liberals incumbents Scott Brison and Mario Silva are running again in Nova Scotia’s Kings-Hants and Toronto’s Davenport ridings. United Church minister Rob Oliphant is running in Toronto’s Don Valley West and Catherine Meade is running in Halifax.

Andre Papadimitriou is running for the Green Party in Toronto’s York South-Weston riding.

The Conservatives have Lorne Mayencourt running in Vancouver Centre. Chris Reid dropped out of the race in Toronto Centre.

Incumbent Bloc Québécois MP Réal Ménard is running in Hochelaga.
