Me, Myself and Art, with Sagine Soul Art

Presented in a variety of mediums, Sagine Soul Art’s latest work is about inner reflection and self-expression. Even if you missed the exhibition’s opening night celebration, her work is on display (and for sale) in the sex and book shop for the entire month.

Oh My Jam: Mistletoe Mischief

If you want an ultra-inclusive dance party that focuses on hip hop, R&B, dancehall and reggae, this is for you. The Queer Mafia’s latest party includes music by DJs Mace and Ken L Jones. Proceeds go to Ottawa’s music and art festival, Westfest.

There isn’t much snow, but this workshop will result in a different kind of precipitation. Sexpert Julia Muse Winston’s workshop is all about helping people with vaginas to squirt. It includes discussion of stigma surrounding this activity. Everyone is welcome.

Now you can buy your strap-ons and pies all in one place. For two hours only, the sex and book shop’s Karine Kirsten sells some of her fantastic homemade pies — mushroom, roasted butternut squash, caramelized onion, cranberry apple and more — for $15–20.
