Leaping Thespians — and no I am not lisping! Vancouver’s lesbian acting troupe brings you a “little harmless dinner party with friends.” Things don’t go as planned when five friends get together for a murder mystery party: personalities clash, emotions take over, jealousy rears its ugly head and it all makes for a very entertaining night. The term might make some straight men run away in fear but fear not, this is a pain-free version of rear entry. “Art, music, and sexy come together for one night of an all-out gay/straight pop-up party that will make you gag,” promises organizer Matt Troy. With a night of Beyoncé-themed art and music you can bet there will be more drag queens performing here as Queen B than at a Jay-Z concert. This fundraiser for the Positive Women’s Network promises 60-plus participating artists and 80 art submissions relating to Beyoncé — plus all the tight spandex and leotard outfits you can imagine.
