Shipyards Night Market

Ricecake: A Queer Asian Dance Party

Ricecake is “sending out a call for a queer Asian invasion to come shake your hot rice cakes,” with music by DJs Which Nancy, Bella (of Body Party) and Armistice. Plus go-go dancing and performances by Shay Dior, Tiffany Ann Co and Bibi Souphresh.

Public Disco: Art Smash

Karin Lee: QueerSUM Opening

This gallery show featuring works by artist and filmmaker Karin Lee is based on the theme “Queer-sum,” a “Chinglish” play on the words “queer love.” The show features two dramas and a documentary filmed by Lee. Show runs until Saturday, Aug 18.

Queer Swarm

The Gay Agenda: Tag Team – The Last Strip Off

The final edition of the Gay Agenda promises “lots of skin, lots of glitter, all different shapes and sizes and forms of masculinity stripping on stage with a smile on their faces.” This month, amateurs help each other strip off on stage, with encouragement from Peach Cobblah and music by DJ Del Stamp.
