Pamela Anderson asks married lesbian NYC council speaker on a date

Pamela Anderson is hosting the New Yorkers for Clean, Livable and Safe Streets gala, Night of New York Class, on Oct 23. The event is part of a campaign to replace horse-drawn carriages with electric replicas of classic cars.

I lived and studied in New York City for three years, and the horse-drawn carriages, which are a huge tourist attraction, are my single least favourite thing about the city. I’ve looked into those horses’ eyes and seen the hopelessness as they trot down cement streets, which are harmful to their hooves, in all weather conditions, with cars, bicycles and pedestrians surrounding them. It is simply unnatural. Some argue it’s a “New York tradition,” but if a tradition involves cruelty, perhaps it’s time to get a new one.

Anderson has reached out to NYC council speaker Christine Quinn and her new wife, Kim Catullo, to be her dates to the event. “I know you are a busy woman,” Anderson wrote to Quinn, “but I’d like to invite you to be my date for the evening in hopes you’ll consider being the 24th council supporter. Please let me know if you can join me on Tuesday. And please feel free to bring your wife — three’s company!”

I love that she’s not above flirtation to get what she wants. Whether it involves Tommy Lee’s horse dick or actual horses — get it, girl!
