Peaches brings new film to Toronto

Multi-talented pansexual lets loose

Prolific performer Peaches is back in town. The Toronto native, who now calls Berlin home, is attending the Toronto International Film Festival with her first feature film, Peaches Does Herself.

“It’s 89 percent stage performance,” she says.

The film builds on previous shows, including Peaches Christ Superstar, and is being billed on the TIFF website as “a transsexual rock opera, or a sex-change jukebox musical.”

As part of the film’s presentation, the Drake Hotel is hosting Peaches Does the Drake on Sept 14.
