Perverted city: call for proposals

Pervers/Cité is a collaboratively organized summer festival, taking place Aug 4 to 14, that aims to make links across social justice groups, queer communities and radical visions of Pride. In a climate of corporatized gay agendas and whitewashed homogeneity amongst queers, Pervers/Cité strives to provide a critical and accessible schedule of activities, designed to bring back the radical underpinnings of the Pride movement. Past events have included panel discussions, workshops, performance nights, film nights, direct-action interventions, picnics, community dinners and games. If you want to organize something, send a short description of your event, along with any logistics that you would need help organizing, to perverscite@gmail.com. The deadline is Wednesday, June 29 at noon.
