Pressed: a Centretown pearl

Pressed is an organic, fair-trade coffee and tea place, with gluten-free and vegan sandwich options, kid-friendly atmosphere during the day and amazing music at night. Plus, they have free WiFi. The food is simple and delicious, but don’t just take my word for it — here are some reviews by others on urbanspoon.com.

It is a little pearl worth discovering, if you haven’t already.

Calling itself an urban gourmet sandwich bar, it is also a house of experimental music on Wednesday nights. Tonight, you can lounge and listen to musician Gary Udle, who is the guitarist of As the Poets Affirm — “an experimental Post/ Indie prog rock with some jazz, and classical music influences,” as per their website. Listen to them here.

Check it out if you’re in the mood for something new and interesting. It’s at 750 Gladstone Ave.
