Belleville to hold first-ever Pride parade

The southern Ontario community of almost 50,000 will be holding its first-ever Pride parade this Saturday.

Belleville is in the midst of its Pride festivities this week, which included a film screening last night. Their chock-full Saturday begins at Empire Square (353 Front St, Belleville) and continues along Front Street to Zwicks Park, where they will hold the annual Pride in the Park. That evening the first-ever Pride Dance, an all-ages dance party at The Fiesta Lounge (47 Dundas St W, Trenton), will finish off the celebrations.

Bon Pride, Belleville!
