Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ too gay for Alaskan high school

Bitch, please. That's what some Wasilla High School students would like to say to their bigoted, homophobic principal, Dwight Probasco, for forbidding the school's symphonic jazz choir from performing the iconic hit "Bohemian Rhapsody" simply because Queen front-man Freddie Mercury was homosexual. Reportedly, the school received at least one parent complaint about the song, which the jazz choir had been rehearsing all semester, leading principal Douchey Dwight to cancel the end-of-year performance.

Choir member Casey Hight has fought back against the school by contacting a gay and lesbian support group in Anchorage. They told him to contact an attorney at the American Civil Liberties Union. “I felt like the school was discriminating for sexual orientation, and I felt it was wrong,” Hight told reporters. “It’s so stupid because there’s nothing sexual in the song. There aren’t even any cuss words.”

I was just going to write a big spiel about Douchey Dwight and what a douchey bastard he is, but you know what? We shouldn't let this pig get the best of us. Freddie Mercury was fucking fabulous. We are fucking fabulous.
