On her wedding day, Chris Downey toasted the blushing bride and mentioned the pivotal role Britney Spears, “the soundtrack of our lives,” has played in their friendship. “Your dating record, for example — I can think of a song that represents that. Like, ‘Oops, I Did It Again,’” he joked, before motioning to her new husband. “That is until you met this wonderful man sitting here.”

“We all know that marriage takes love and care, but marriage also takes a lot of work,” Downey said. “So you better work, bitch.”
