Toronto’s queer Ugandan group is hosting a fundraiser on Tue, Feb 23. Details from the Facebook Event:

Pride Uganda Alliance International say the funds will be used to help queer Ugandans seeking refugee status.

Organizers hosted a community forum at The 519 in December — hundreds came out to protest Uganda’s proposed anti-gay legislation. Check out Xtra’s video report.
