Toronto Interlude — I never Sausage a Party.

Even though I’m in New York this week, and thus not around to enjoy what’s going on in Toronto this week, I’d be remiss if I didn’t draw your attention to tonight’s Sausage Party, the latest comedy night at Fire on the East Side hosted by Ian ‘8-inch’ Lynch. Lynch is fresh off his recent well-deserved victory in Toronto’s first-ever Comedy Brawl, and tonight’s show is a benefit for a really great cause, Fife House.

Fife House supports and houses people living with HIV/AIDS, but Lynch promises the show won’t feature any sad speeches. Instead, look forward to a bevy of hot and hilarious comics (Keelan Fiorillo, Alan Kliffer, Vong Sundara, John Hastings, Andrew Johnston, Marco Bernardi, Jordan Timmons and Stephen Sharpe) and raunchy humour. Entry is by donation to Fife House (suggested donation is $5, but that doesn’t mean you can’t give more if you can afford it). If I were in town tonight, this is where I would be.

Doors at 8pm, show at 9pm; Fire on the East Side is at 6 Gloucester St.
