What are you going to do with your old jeans this fall?

Vancouver’s Covenant House, a downtown charity organization that supports homeless youth on Vancouver streets, has put a call out for old jeans, sweaters, coats and shoes. If you have clothing that you know you aren’t going to wear again this fall/winter season, now’s the time to drop it off:

These aren’t kids who are too lazy to work. Covenant House is a charity supported by a former organization I used to work for. I was fortunate enough to tour their Drake St facility one Christmas. A lot of these kids are running away from abusive homes. They need donations in order to stay warm and dry now that the weather is turning.

Thanks for your support, Vancouver.
