Pink Triangle Press is seeking a full-time Executive/HR Coordinator to support our Executive and Talent Management Directors.

In this position you will be working closely with the Executive Director to optimize his time, ensuring that relationships are managed effectively, and that he is prepared, informed, and available to perform executive responsibilities. You will also be supporting the Talent Management Director in the execution of Pink Triangle Press’ talent strategy, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of services.

To be successful in this role it is essential that you will have:

  • 5+ years experience in an executive coordinator role or relevant administrative position
  • Knowledge of process improvement and optimization, and initiative to recommend and/or implement such efficiencies
  • Advanced knowledge and application of all MS Office software
  • General tech savvy in various software applications
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills coupled with high level of empathy, specifically as it related to effective relationship management with internal and external stakeholders of the organization
  • Ability to triage issues, seek to understand, provide resolution, and know when to escalate issues requiring ED or TMD attention
  • A level of confidence and ability to work independently, understand organizational priorities, resourcefulness, and the ability to make timely decisions within their level of authority
  • Excellent organizing and time management skills
  • Detail orientation, with the ability to handle data and information with a high level of confidentiality

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Executive Director

  • Act as the point of contact or liaison between the ED and all internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage the ED’s time through effective calendaring, meeting preparation, triaging and prioritizing incoming time requirements, and arrangement of travel and logistics
  • Manage all ED administrative requirements, including meeting minutes, action plan follow-through, office organization, documentation system, and expense reporting
  • Ensuring documentation, reports, and other deliverables are tracked and received by the ED
  • Prepare reports and ensure preparation of various reports
  • Prepare presentations for the board, and both internal and external meetings
  • Organize quarterly Townhalls
  • Assist in conducting market research on an as-required basis

Talent Management Director

  • General HR administration and employee communications
  • General benefits and pension plan administration
  • Facilitate the talent acquisition process by sourcing candidates, conducting reference checks, assisting in shortlist creation, and drafting contracts
  • Assist in employee orientations, ensuring that PTP procedures are followed, and new hire records are complete and correct
  • Train staff on HRIS and other software products as appropriate
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, training sessions, and other HR events
  • Liaise with employees, triage issues, and independently address employee relations issues knowing when to escalate to the TMD
  • Support the TMD in areas of policy development and implementation
  • Assist in the creation of job descriptions, health and safety documents
  • With the TMD, participate in various committees (social, health & safety, Press Gang)
  • Assist the TMD in training of employees on the HRIS, AODA, and H&S
  • Support managers with the performance management process
  • Some general office management as it relates to staff and general HR issues

Pink Triangle Press is looking for an Online Media Planner to drive quality traffic to PTP’s websites. This position is responsible for identifying the best mix of media channels to deliver advertising messages to the Press’ target audience to produce maximum exposure, within budget.

If you are the right person for this role, you are able to achieve and exceed monthly and annual targets of the following metrics in regards to overall traffic and traffic type; including but not limited to: site visits, membership, revenue, bounce rate, CPA, ROI, and registration conversation rate.

You will have additional proven skills and experience including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Obtaining, analyzing, and successfully applying  media and traffic generation trends, best practices and strategies in the  online industry (with special attention to the gay and lesbian industry) to drive quality traffic to PTP  websites
  • Analyzing and researching the target audience’s character, purchasing, and media habits
  • Presenting media proposals, including timings and cost breakdowns, helping the Press to reach a final decision about their future advertising strategy
  • Managing budgets and maintaining advertising spend records
  • Monitoring and analyzing competition for media, PR, SEO, SEM and traffic generation activities
  • Utilizing tools (including but not limited to: Google, Bing, Facebook, and tier II and III search engines and traffic generators) to drive quality traffic
  • Expanding and optimizing SEO and SEM keyword lists
  • Identifying key performance indicators related to media, and online traffic generation activities

Required Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of online marketing, e-commerce, marketing communication
  • Proven strong analytical acumen and experience
  • Proven success of managing online campaigns, media relation and traffic generation
  • Knowledge of internet industry (interactivity, connectivity, e-commerce and enterprise)
  • Experience with web tools like Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Yahoo, Bing ads, Traffic generator tools
  • Knowledge of sexual politics and history
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
